new – international students

Today I created a small intro animation in Flash. I can’t upload the swf file, but I have posted the animated gif format below:

We hope to have a ‘new plant growing theme in the website and cd.

All the  filming we have done so far was been captured at the beginning of this week, including:

• Luganda footage (Robert)
• Arabic footage
• Spanish footage (Soraya)
• Two International Students footage (Jojo from Uganda and Trevor from Hong Kong)

What still needs to be done is dividing up the clips for the Arabic footage, which Maryam needs to do. We also need to get Soraya back to help us translate and categorise the Spanish footage. The Luganda footage has already been categories by Akaliza with her limited understanding of the language. In addition, we may possibly add subtitles, in which case all the students may have to be called back.

There also seems to be some problems with the sound, particularly with the Arabic footage and the Two International Student’s footage (where there only the camera mic was used) , so this may have to be done-over.
